What good do they do to the world? I didn't find an explanation on how things are made, where and why they would be better than any other conventional things I can buy elsewhere...?

Thanks for your comment. I agree that clearly communicating the eco and ethical value of the products is really important, and something I aspire to do better. On the site there is some information about the designer and their materials on the product tab ‘More about the Designer’, but if this isn’t easy to find there is obviously some more work I need to do to improve this. Thanks for this feedback.

On the educational side of things, and for later this year, I have plans for talks by some Pure Design designers on how they have approached sustainability in their work. The talks aim to support new designers who want to improve the ethical and eco nature of their work, and to raise awareness amongst customers who view clips of the talks online. Hopefully this will contribute towards getting the message out there. Thanks again for your comment.
