Entrant Posted by Norman Davison View on LinkedIn	Thursday 20 August 2009 5:16:51 pm Looking at a roof mounted solar water heater today, I was astounded at the ridiculous price tag ? it was £3,200 pounds for a anodised alluminium box , containing some 9mm copper coils , ( nothing exotic like 35cr 40 ni, no just commom or garden copper tube) this backed with matt black alluminium or maybe PVC and the whole kit was covered with glass. This is absolutely outrageous pricing . How can we ask people to GO GREEN - GO ENERGY SAVING . with a straight face when companies are pricing this fancy junk at ridiculous prices, targeting people on modest incomes and high intentions Seriously I could have lashed up the same kit for £200 pounds and still been able to have a night out on the profits and paid for the taxi Home. Robert Marchant - Get your green supermarkets going ! and give these people the kicking they so royaly deserve !!! Seriously I could have lashed up the same kit for £200 pounds and still been able to have a night out on the profits and paid for the taxi Home.
