SIPECO- Structulates filed a patent today for p-CRETE-603 , an ultra-lightweight concrete which uses 70% recycled polystyrene prills, and 20% carbon negative calcium carbonate, and only 10% cement .

Primary uses are for Stucco repair work, prefabricated fill work, and castable flooring (where weight is a major factor.) and prefabricated panels.

This represent a major breakthrough in cement usage .

For reference the CO2 emmission from the Cement industry is more than the total for the entire aviation industry on the planet.
