Good points, Jonas, and the need to maintain the protection against corrosion, for instance, is another reason why it's important to be able to bring the equipment to the surface at regular intervals for maintenance. Also the need to clean the blades of weed and other marine growths regularly in order to keep them working properly. Very good reasons why an accessible system like the one I am proposing is the way to go.
