Car manufacturer's Ford, Toyota and Nissan , have become frustrated with Hydrogen fuel cells and are switching to Methanol based fuel cells .
These cells will be used as small booster packs for all electric cars and for hybrids, in order to extend their range.
Existing logistics and distribution, can incorporate this hydrocarbon without major changes, as they are already familiar with existing volatile liquids.
So the car that just puts water out as a combustion product is still some time in the future.
However Solarvasserstoffe for large scale generation remains a must . On the next upswing, Oil requirement will be heading towards 100 million barrels per day.
Which production can not meet . 580 Oilfields have peaked world wide . With production declining at the rate of 6->9%.and Interest in the Tar sands is declining. The ballance of energy will have to be found from some where. Or declining living standards. Nuclear power plants take at least 7 years to build and commission . So they will not fill the Oil Gap.
The possibilities remain the same :
1) a)Solar Hydrogen at the large generator level b) solar concentrating for boiler operation/steam turbine generation.
2) Solar PV in the home
3) Solar Thermal in the home .
4) Eco- Insulation Panels on the exterior of all new buildings and retro-fitting to older buildings. This reduces heating cooling energy by 80% and is the lowest in terms of capital cost.
