How To Enter
The Good Entrepreneur is a great opportunity to kickstart your business idea. Here are the steps you need to complete to become a competition entrant.
1. Register as a user on this website
You must first register on this website. This will allow you to setup your personal profile and allow you to submit your entry to us. Additionally registration will let you keep up to date by receiving our (optional) newsletter and will also let you comment and rate other entrants' pitch videos as they are published online. You'll also be able to keep track of your favourite editorial articles and videos through the bookmarks function.
2. Prepare your one minute pitch video
A key part of your entry is a one minute video presentation. It's up to you how you make this, it doesn't need to be a high end production. But it does need to convey your idea in the most conducive manner. Be creative and show us your entrepreneurial spririt and your environmental consideration. Your idea must be a business concept that shows a real chance of becoming profitable as well as supporting the environment in a positive manner.
3. Upload your entry from your Profile Page.
Once you have made your video you will be able to login and convert to an entrant by clicking the Enter the Competition link on your profile page.
Here are some tips for getting your video ready to upload:
- Keep your video to a maximium length of one minute.
- You may use, .avi, .mov or .wmv formats.
- Your video size must not exceed 100mb.
