About: I am the father of a two year old girl, and an entrepreneur who is motivated by letting people do things they didn't imagine the could. Also I am always hunting to find 'waste' that somehow can be made useful.

The Pitch:

Here you are, in your office. You would like to go home. You see cars passing outside your window. You know some cars are passing your house. Wouldn't it be great if you would know which car drivers could give you a ride? Now you can! With our new service you can easily find which drivers are willing to take a passenger, where they are now and when the will be in your neighborhood. Even better; with one click you can phone them immediately to make a deal. Let's ride together again. Expand your world, by saving it.

Comments:

BABETTE VAN GESSEL says: Concepts nice but not practical. No woman would ever get into a car with a stranger (well I wouldnt) and as sociable as I can be, I really would n't want the general public phoning me or tracking my registration number. It not as benign everywhere else in the world outside of Holland. Plus the service of finding cars is already in place in Holland where you can sms the registration number to get a value of a car, so this is just taking that one step further. Sharing rides is best left to friends, colleagues or friendly neighbours.

Peter Leonard Krebs says: Have you heard of sites like comuto.com? This kind of idea is in use in France since mid-2000's and has over 2M users. Check it out!

Dan Frederiksen says: it's a nice thought and if that's what it took it would be a good idea. but a small reduction in CO2 emission will not be enough. not even close.

we need for vehicles to be entirely CO2 free and that's electric cars. and the more efficient those cars are the quicker we can have them powered entirely by CO2 free sources like windmill, solar, waterfall and nuclear.
