The Pitch:

Once upon a time there was a planet in an energy crisis. Kingdoms, states and cities nominated their best people to form the council of the wise, who searched across the lands to find optimal solutions. They ended up with 3 scenarios:
1) Find another planet to relocate
2) Invest in the best technological solutions
3) Enable the population to participate in solving the energy crisis with small and larger scale solutions
The first option quickly proved inadequate – no planet with optimal living conditions in sight.
The second option proved to be unrealistic in the current geopolitical situation amongst the nations. There was not enough trust to allow for deployment and testing of the best solutions existing therefore inadequate funding for rapid and global solutions.
The third solution started to catch on like a wildfire or a virus – this time for the benefit of humanity and working as an “epidemic of health”. This drastic climate change of culture and habits started enabling more and more individuals, families, cities and states to take responsibility for their own well-being.
How did they do it?
A group of companies brought together small-scale hydro, wind and solar installations of 1-50 kilowatts making them attractive and affordable clean energy solutions for households, farms, small and medium enterprises. They worked with financial institutions and municipality leaders to create a timely payback schemes, with cultural and political leaders as role models, and shared ways to save, produce and create their own energy. Sparked by the newly liberated creativity they continued to improvise with their own entrepreneurial ventures combining solving the energy crisis with creating sustainable lifestyles.
Find out more details how the legend of social renewables began and how they continue to evolve and prepare to install your own renewable energy system.
