The Pitch:

Consumerism or materialism has brought with it a devastating environmental effect. Here is my take; we can all engage in recycling and exchange of tangible goods through a web platform which is both attractive and interactive. By checking out who is giving or exchanging what, before we buy products that we need and by showcasing both sides of the social-economic divide can attract the wealthy and make them become actively involved the recycling approach to environmental sustainability.

The long-term impact of this, is a greener landscape all over the world, especially in the Congo basin which has suffered huge environmental devastation caused by mining of mineral resources.

Many have pledged to use the platform to empty their basement, closets and garages, and in future, use the same forum to request for items they may have need for.
