The Pitch:

Eco Map is an interactive geographic map that displays the ecological status of the world. It gives a clear view of how dirty are the single regions and where we must take a precautions.

Eco Map is web application based on Google Maps and Flash. Through Internet our project is accessible from everywhere in the world.

With Eco Map ecological organizations will be able to find resources for the campaigns from the interested people from all around the world. For example imagine that the park nearby is polluted. One of the ecological organizations in your region wants to make a campaign which costs 300 euro. The organization publish in Eco Map photos and information for the park and its plan for the cleaning. Thousands of users come to know about the condition of the park and if they wish they can endow 1 euro (or more). With this type of donations the society will decide which projects are wanted and which one must me realized. The donations can be done from companies with sponsorships if they decide that the campaign will have great public interest. When the necessary sum is collected the ecological organization realizes the cleaning and publishes photos and information about the end result from the campaign. In this new green region we can see the name of the organization and full list of the contributors.

Eco Map give an opportunity for two types of registrations for ecological organizations – standard (free) and extra (paid). Through the standard registration the approved ecological organizations will have the right to publish 1 campaign per month. In this way they can publish only their strong campaigns and to assess the advantage of Eco Map. If they want to publish more campaigns they can pay for the extra account. This one will have other potentialities like publishing news, detailed information about the organizations, rating and much more.


Eco Map will be successful only if it is enough popular. Though TV series and the advertisement on CNBC millions of people will come to know about the project and though current financing Eco Map will be developed and supported for a year.
