Proper Oils collects Used Cooking Oil (UCO) from caterers, refines it to the highest quality biodiesel, & supplies it to local organisations

By keeping the operation local, Proper Oils:
- Minimises its own environmental impact;
- Demonstrates provenance & tangibility by showing everyone how the recycling process works; and
- Uniquely – can cost out the sustainability benefits for all stakeholders eg by calculating the CO2 savings

Would you envisage oil banks, as we have bottle banks and waste cloth and paper banks?

Recycling waste oil would be attractive to water companies who are always complaining about fats clogging up the sewage system.
