Be Extraordinary Feed a Child

Extraordinary Ones works on a very simple concept. Imagine every time you go to a restaurant or buy a meal you feed a child. Automatically.
It costs 25c or 15p to feed a child for a day. Imagine we all did just that.

Restaurants, cafe's, take aways sign up and when you see our logo you know you feed a child.
For every meal they donate 25c via Extraordinary Ones to great causes. Automatically.
A place like London serves over 1 Billion meals every year.

Our goal is to have thousands of restaurants participating feeding 1 million children by 2010.

Together we can end world hunger, together we save feed children.

25c doesnt make a difference to us but it can change a life. Help to get your local restaurant to join.

25c Small Change Big Difference

Hunger is a critical part of achieving sustainability. Our conversations about hunger , as critical as they are, need to be placed in the context of a much larger conversation about how ending hunger in our world is vital to the future of the planet. Places of hunger create many other problems which endanger our lives and the planet we are living on.
We not just need to come with great solutions we have to work on the most basic forms of poverty at the same time.

But I nevertheless have a question: What are you going to do with the money being collected from the restaurants and how will you make sure that the money is spent right and really has an impact?

Thanks for your comments. the donations will go into a foundations and the trustees ensure that the fnds go to great causes which are already doing that work, our trustees also amke sure the causes are sustainable and effective

100% of the funds go to the cause.

Had 3 fantastic meals out last week with a tolal of 25 people, a lovely time but would have been even better if they had been part of this.

The main reassurance that some key contributors and other people will want is around the specific mechanism that will guarantee that all of the funds go to the intended recipients as there is much negative publicity around this as raised by Bill Gates' recent book. I am sure that the more re-assuring the details of this mechanism are the more successful the project will be.
