The Pitch:

As energy is being heavily consumed by IT, lots of vendors in the world anticipated on green IT solutions. The main issue we faced throughout the years is though, if it comes to business, selling what sells best comes first.

The power of our concept is that we sell a Green IT Assurance as a genuine insurance that if for instance energy consumption at our customer meets certain treshold levels, we will partly pay our customer back (for the investment on our green IT solutions) and partly invest some of the money we pay him in environmental (energy saving) charities.

Maurice van Herk says: One addition: in this way customers really believe in energy saving with IT (because we pay them back if we do not meet agreed savings). If not a part of the money goes to environmental charities (for research), thus helping research to develop better solutions. Those off course can than be bought by our customers with the money they've received from our insurance. it's the circle of continuous energy saving development.
